Mission Impossible: II
Due to high volumes of interest in the previous theme weekend, the trip to the Fitzwilliam Museum and Spy Missions, Cambridge was repeated on Saturday 28th April 2012. Despite the poor weather, it did not deter the 30 pupils on our trip to Cambridge, which was yet another exciting event for many of our year 4-6 pupils.
Everyone was amazed by the delight of the Fitzwilliam Museum building which is very grand, sporting large, stone lions at the entrance. We all then proceeded to see a fantastic collection of exhibits that comprise the Ancient Egyptian collection. The ‘Spy Missions’ Centre, at Bar Hill, was one of the most memorable experiences many of the children have ever had. It was so exciting pretending to be a spy on a special mission. Everyone felt like James Bond!
A great day was had by all.
