Teacher of Chemistry

Stamford High School is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Chemistry. The post would equally well suit a newly-qualified teacher or an experienced teacher.
The successful applicant is expected to teach Chemistry at all levels, including IGCSE and A Level. The ability to offer another science subject is desirable but not essential. There is also an expectation that he or she will contribute to departmental activities outside of timetabled lessons e.g. lunchtime clubs and after-school Chemistry Clinic sessions, in addition to working closely with other team members in the continual development of lessons, resources and schemes of work. A willingness to offer support to other aspects of the extra-curricular life of the school, including boarding, is assumed. Single person accommodation may be available.
