Jumping to Success

The new Stamford Endowed Schools Equestrian Team fielded 6 teams of 4 at the Inter Schools show jumping competition at Epworth, near Doncaster, a qualifier for the Lincolnshire NSEA County Challenge. All the team members rode with professionalism, maturity and were a credit to the school. The results speak for themselves:

70cm class - All rode solid rounds to finish 7th overall and 1st in Lincolnshire, therefore qualifying for the County Championships.

80cm class (two teams entered) - Also rode fantastic rounds to finish 6th and 11th overall, placing us 1st and 2nd in Lincolnshire also qualifying for the County Championships.

90cm class (two teams entered) - We had 3 clears rounds between them to finish 5th overall, 1st Lincolnshire with another championship qualification. The second team all rode brilliantly but were not placed this time around.

1m class - They rode lovely rounds to be placed 3rd as a team and Grace was awarded 3rd for her individual ride. Grace also competed as an individual in the 1.10m class where she came 1st and also qualified for the County Championships.

Well done everyone and thanks to all the parents and helpers who came along to support our teams today.
