Sarah Outen sends SES a special message from Alaska
Stamford High School Old Girl, Sarah Outen, recently arrived in the Aleutian Islands after rowing 3,750 nautical miles across the Pacific Ocean. The row was completed as part of Sarah’s wider expedition “London2London: Via the World”, a challenge to circle the globe by human power alone.
Before leaving Adak Island, Sarah sent the Stamford Endowed Schools a very special message which you can hear below:
After spending the last 150 days at sea, Sarah is now on her way to New York to meet her Fiancé. We wish her all the best and look forward to following the rest of her adventure when she returns to Adak in the spring.
