Nursery Children Enjoy Teddy Bears' Picnic

On a warm summer’s day, children at the Earlybird Nursery held a teddy bears’ picnic in the garden of their new building. The picnic was also open to families interested in finding out more about the nursery and our children enjoyed playing with their guests and showing off their new building.

The children brought their favourite teddy bears to the picnic and enjoyed some outdoor games. This included making biscuits, exploring the new wildlife garden and bug hunting. They also played parachute games with the staff and then developed their creative sides by making collages.

Jo Green, Manager of the Earlybird Nursery said “The children really enjoyed themselves at the picnic and the weather was perfect for outdoor games in the garden. The children have only been in the new nursery building for short few months, but have settled in very well and love the extra space for play and learning. We were also pleased to welcome interested parents and their children to come and have a look around during the afternoon."

Places are available for September, but filling up fast, so parents should contact us as soon as possible on 01780 484400
