Pupils put on Spectacular Production of Pinocchio

Pinocchio productionYear 6 pupils at Stamford Junior School have ended their school days in style as they put on a spectacular production of Pinocchio. The pupils spent a week singing, dancing and acting during the rehearsals for the end of year production.

The production of Pinocchio, directed by Phil and Vicky Norton of Starbright Entertainments, enabled the pupils to wear costumes and present to a packed audience of 400 at the Stamford Corn Exchange on a real stage.

The pupils developed their drama skills and their knowledge of the wider theatre. Everyone was thrilled by the experience and the performance.

One pupil commented: “It wasn’t as nerve-racking as I thought and I felt more of the part with the amazing scenery and costumes. It was great!”
