Strong GCSE Results for SES Pupils
Strong GCSE results complete another highly successful year at the Stamford Endowed Schools. The students at both Stamford School (for boys) and Stamford High School (for girls) are celebrating many excellent results.
Girls at Stamford High School and boys at Stamford School are celebrating their results with many excellent individual achievements in their GCSE examinations. At both schools students achieved impressively high pass rates at the top grades A* or A, the girls achieving 61% and the boys 47%. The percentage of exams passed at A* grade was 30% across both Schools up from 25% in 2013. The percentage of pupils gaining 5 or more GCSEs at C grade or better was a pleasing 95% at Stamford High School and 92% at Stamford School.
Principal of the Stamford Endowed Schools, Mr Stephen Roberts said:
"We are again celebrating the impressive results of our students. We are extremely proud of their achievements and congratulate them and their teachers on this high level of success. It is clear that these results are the outcome of hard work, careful preparation and excellent teaching and will give all of our students every confidence to go on to further success in the sixth form”.
