Jungle and Coastal Adventures for SS Geography
Year 8 students from Stamford School headed down to Cornwall during half term to investigate the landscape for their Geography curriculum.
For four days over half term a group of Year 8 Geography students visited Cornwall. Their trip included a mix of geography and outdoor activities in a stunning cliff-top location. The boys studied the coastal landforms and geology of the area and took part in a ‘Jungle Connections’ workshop at the Eden Project. Both activities tie in with the topics either currently being studied or that will be studied later in the year, but it wasn’t all work, there was time for some kayaking, body-boarding and climbing as well!
