Enterprise Society are Gearing up for Christmas
The Stamford High School Enterprise Society will be selling their first products during the run-up to Christmas, here is a report from Year 13 student, Molli Cleaver, about their progress.
The newly formed Stamford High School Enterprise Society have set ourselves a mammoth mission for the next few months: we are in the process of making mini Christmas cakes, creating a sweet and humble twist to the traditional Christmas delight, to sell at Christmas Fayres during November and December. We will be baking and decorating the cakes in the High School’s brand new Home Economics suite, under the guidance of Head of HE, Mrs Bennie.
We are very excited about this business challenge and we feel that it could be a great success. At the forefront of it all stands SHS English teacher, Mrs Echezarreta, with a clear passion for business and who is spreading that passion to those of us who have joined and invested in the business. With her organisation, drive and support the SHS Enterprise Society is bound to succeed particularly with such a strong, eager and confident team following closely behind.
We look forward to selling our original and traditional mini Christmas cakes at the SOSH Christmas Fayre at Stamford Arts Centre on 22nd November and the SJS PA Christmas Fayre on 3rd December. Our tummies are already rumbling; we can’t wait to sample these scrumptious cakes!
If anyone is interested in giving us business advice or support, or indeed would like to set us our next business challenge, please contact Mrs Echezarreta at email@example.com.
