Stamford School defeat hollandStamford School’s senior students finished their XV a side season with a European adventure. The senior squad visited Holland, as guests of the Netherlands Rugby Board (NRB). The first match they played was against the Holland under 18s side which produced a good fast game with Stamford School winning 10 points to 5. The second match was a far more difficult test match against the Elite National Centre’s under 19 squad. It was a fantastic game of rugby in which the home side were able to convert more of their opportunities. The matches were played on the 4G surface at the National Stadium.

Head coach of the Holland 18s side was very happy with the matches: "Dutch rugby is on a massive up at the moment in all aspects of the game. Getting quality opposition over to promote Holland rugby and give us intense physical games is great for our guys. We were aware of Stamford’s reputation and we knew it would be a great test and highly enjoyable for all the players.”
