Successful European Adventure for Hockey Squads

Hockey tour to hollandStamford School’s hockey teams spent half term putting their skills to the test as they travelled through France and Belgium to the powerhouse of European hockey - the Netherlands. The boys enjoyed three days of sightseeing and sunshine as well as matches with Baarne HC and Rotterdam HC. The First XI and the Under 12 team won both of their matches whereas the under 13 team won two and lost to Baarne in a 1-0 thriller.

Head of Hockey, Jack Cropper, was pleased with the boys: "This was a good test and a great way to keep our boys fit and moving forward into the second half of the season. They played some brilliant hockey and touring is such a great way to see the world and play sport."
