Silent Auction for Charity Ball
The annual Stamford Junior School Parents Association charity ball is being held at Grange Farm in Wittering on Saturday 21st March. The SJS PA are running 2 fund raising events on the evening; a “gift tree” for smaller donations and a silent auction for larger prizes, experiences and vouchers. They will be donating all the proceeds raised from these two events directly to the Seb Goold Trust which has been set up to aid the recovery of Seb, a courageous 9 year old boy at SJS, who received life-changing injuries following a coach accident on the return trip from a rugby tour in Norfolk last year.
The Seb Goold Trust is aiming to raise £50,000 to buy a technologically advanced “Ottobock Genium X3” prosthetic leg for Seb when he is a little older which will enable him to partake in multiple sporting activities (swimming, running, climbing etc) and allow him to live life to the full.
