Cadets Learn Fieldcraft Skills
A group of enthusiastic cadets deployed to the far reaches of the Norfolk countryside to learn the art of fieldcraft. For most, it was a baptism of fire and a lot was learnt during the section and platoon attacks. Our accommodation was spacious (a huge hangar) with beautiful views of the surrounding fields and woods. WO2 Denham ensured everyone was well fed with his home cooked egg banjos, and Lt Holdsworth deployed his mobile Mess which did wonders for morale. The night ambush was particularly effective, especially with the muzzle flash of the cadet rifle and a lot of trigger happy cadets. All in all, a good but exhausting weekend.
