Politics Students take a trip to New York

politics trip Washington DCYear 13 Politics students from the Stamford Endowed Schools travelled to New York and Washington DC during the Easter break.

The students met with Democrat party staffers in New York, lobbyists from BAE Systems at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington DC and saw the 9 justices of the Supreme Court hearing oral arguments. Visits were also made to the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Ground Zero, the Capitol, National Archive, Smithsonian museums and many more. 

Politics teacher Mrs V Saunders, said: “The Duck Tour on land and river was a great highlight and our ‘all-American’ experiences at the Washington Wizards basketball game, Macy’s Department store and the Hard Rock café topped off an incredible week.”
