Stars Confirmed for Sport Bash

sport bash stamfordWith only 16 days to go until Sport Bash, Stamford’s annual sporting extravaganza, tickets are selling out fast. The two day event, organised by Stamford School cricket professional Dean Headley, is being held on 23-24 July on the School’s main fields. The teams are now complete and the line-up includes celebrities, Dom Joly and Harry Potter actor James Phelps (aka Fred Weasley) as well as sports stars Mark Ramprakash, Matthew Hoggard and Emily Scarratt.  

Day 1 of Sport Bash will see the Matt Hampson XI vs Help for Heroes XI, full line-up can be seen here. Then Day 2 the England Masters XI will face the Local Legends XI – team list here.

Whether you are a cricket fan, sporting fan, Harry Potter fan or would like a great day out with your family, there is something for everyone at Sport Bash. As well as the matches there are lots of activities included in the price of the ticket including a 45 metre inflatable, bungee run, giant slide, gladiator challenge, bouncy castle, zorb football and a Lincs Cricket Skills Area.

Last year Sport Bash raised an incredible £31,500 for the chosen charities. This year all monies will support The Matt Hampson Foundation and indirectly The Seb Goold Trust.
