Pupils Experience Russian Life in Moscow
A group of SES students visited Moscow for the 21st annual Russian exchange trip to Khimki. The Russian hosts treated the students to a wide range of activities including The Nutcracker at The Kremlin, international basketball, a toy museum, a visit to Sergiev Posad, a trip to a space museum, an in depth tour of the Bolshoi theatre, an overnight sleeper train to St Petersburg, time in the Hermitage as well as spending a day in our exchange partners’ school. Although it was unseasonably mild, there was still a little snow for us, which was hugely enjoyed by all. Good friendships were made and the Russian Department look forward to preparing for this year’s exchange.
