Spanish Exchange to La Coruña
The fifteenth annual SES Spanish Exchange to La Coruña in north-west Spain took place over the February half-term.
In spite of the occasionally inclement weather, the 12 students enjoyed the hospitality of their Spanish partners and visited local places of interest such as the emblematic Torre de Hércules lighthouse, the Museo de Ciencia y Tecnología and the world famous cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Visit organiser Nick Clift who was accompanied by Catherine Pike said: “This visit has given students the chance to sample real Spanish life, see some new sights and, of course, improve their level of spoken Spanish. We look forward to welcoming our Spanish friends to Stamford before the end of term.”
