Leavers Offered Places at Prestigious Drama Schools

drama school for alumniStamford Endowed Schools Drama department have been celebrating the news that two 2015 leavers have been awarded places at prominent drama schools.

Declan Spaine, who stared as Othello and Danny from Grease during his time at the schools, has been awarded a place at one of the top London drama schools, Italia Conti, to complete his three year BA Hons Acting course.

Ben Crick who performed as Iago, Silvio, Thenardier, Teen Angel and Eugene to name but a few of his many superb performances from his school time, has been awarded a place at the prestigious American Academy of the Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, to complete a two year full-time drama conservatoire programme.

Stamford Endowed Schools Head of Drama, Anneke Davies, was full of praise for the two boys; “It is always deeply rewarding to see former students achieving great things and we wish them all the best in the future. Remember you saw them here first!”
