Students Take Part in National Biology Olympiad
Last term, nine students from the Stamford Endowed Schools entered the annual Biology Olympiad, a national competition run by The Royal Society of Biology.
All of the students enjoyed success in the competition and four of the students finished in medal winning positions. Additionally, all were awarded certificates for their highly commended performances.
George Tyler and Jefferson Lee were awarded bronze and silver medals respectively.
Katie Lumb and Jasmine Farrow were both awarded prestigious Gold medals and were asked to participate in the second round of the competition. This formed part of the selection process for the team who will represent Great Britain in the International Biology Olympiad.
