Year 12 Student Appears on BBC EU Debates
On Sunday 19th June Stamford School Year 12 student Zishi appeared on a special edition of Question Time, ‘EU Special, The Case for Remain’, where he asked David Cameron a question.
Zishi addressed the Prime Minister directly stating his view that regardless of the EU referendum outcome the people’s choice should be respected by the government.
It is not the first time he has been involved with Question Time. In January Zishi was given the opportunity to be a member of the student panel when the BBC’s flagship political show was held at Stamford Endowed Schools’ Oswald Elliott Hall.
He also attended the BBC’s Great Debate on Tuesday night at Wembley Arena. The debate was the final live debate of the UK’s EU referendum campaign before Thursdays vote. Zishi’s presence on the political scene continues to rise. In the past year he has a received a British Youth Council Discovering Democracy Award and brought the ‘Make Your Mark’ initiative to the Stamford Endowed Schools.
