Students Volunteer for Anna’s Hope
Five Stamford Endowed Schools’ students gave up their time on Saturday to volunteer for local charity Anna’s Hope. The students volunteered as part of the charity’s Queensgate bucket shake and helped to raise £1,350. The following students were involved:
Ali Hussein (Year 11)
Josh Phipps (Year 11)
Zishi Zhang (Year 13)
Alex Duncan (Year 13)
Kate Forman (OG)
Sue Williams, a Trustee at Anna's Hope said: "Thank you so much for volunteering your time on Saturday to help with the Queensgate Bucket Shake. We raised a grand total of £1350, which would not have been possible without you. It was great to see the students from SES getting into the spirit of things and donning fairy wings, skirts and wands - and yes, the boys included! As a local charity based in Stamford, it means so much to have the support of all at Stamford Endowed Schools.
Every penny raised will go to helping children in this region who have suffered a brain tumour, so on behalf of Rob, Carole and myself, thank you once again. We hope you enjoyed the day and look forward to working with you again in the future."
