Robotics Club Compete in Lego League
Stamford School Robotics Club narrowly missed out on winning the regional heat of the Lego League robotics competition held in Market Deeping. The team had worked tirelessly during the school term and in the holidays to design and build a robot. The robot had to complete as many challenges as it could in a certain time period. The robust design and effective programming meant the team scored consistently in each round and they progressed all the way to the final.
Physics teacher at Stamford School, Jamie Laird said: "The team were disappointed to lose a closely fought encounter but have returned to Robotics Club with new ideas and a burning to desire go one step further in next year’s competition."
