Careers Staff Visit Estonia

Careers guidance conferenceLast week three of the members of staff responsible for careers guidance in the senior schools - Mrs S Killgren, Mrs V Wilson and Mr S Jordan - visited Estonia for the second meeting of a three way partnership project funded by the EU’s Leonardo Lifelong Learning Programme. The project, entitled “Careers Guidance Networking Creates More Power”, links staff from the Endowed Schools, Røyken College in Norway and a careers organisation in Pärnu Estonia, enabling them to swap ideas and share examples of good practice in the area of careers guidance. The group were joined by colleagues from a careers organisation in Finland, who are keen to become part of the scheme in future years.
