Coffee Morning Raises Hundreds for Macmillan
Over £550 was raised earlier this term by the Stamford Endowed Schools’ community in support of the annual ‘Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.’
Members of staff, parents and pupils at Stamford High School and Stamford School baked a variety of homemade cakes and biscuits in aid of the charity that provides support for people living with cancer.
Helen Gibbons, Chairperson of the Parent’s Association who helped to organise the event at Stamford High School, said she was delighted with the fundraising efforts which raised £450.
Many thanks to all those who baked and came along to support this fantastic cause!
