Stamford High School host Geography Forum Lecture
On 3rd October, Stamford High School hosted 50 AS geography students from the Stamford Endowed Schools, Uppingham and Oundle Schools for their first Geography Forum lecture of the year. Each school in turn hosts the lecture evening, where their students prepare and deliver three presentations on a geographical topic. The students then divide into discussion groups on issues arising from the lectures, and meet in a plenary session at the end of the evening. Stamford Endowed School pupils delivered three excellent lectures on globalisation of Coca Cola, global warming and its beneficial effects and the geographical aspects of the London 2012 Olympics.
