Stamford Junior School celebrate Lincolnshire

 SJS Lincolnshire DayLast week, Stamford Junior School put up the Lincolnshire flag and spent the day celebrating what the county has to offer.

The staff and pupils took part in a range of activities during the SJS Lincolnshire Day including; learning about what the flag represents, looking at famous Lincolnshire people such as Isaac Newton and learning about the history of Lincoln cathedral. The children enjoyed a special lunch which included Lincolnshire sausages and a jelly set in the colours of the flag.

Kevin Fisher, Deputy Head of the Junior School, said “The day was a real success with all the children learning lots about their county.”
