SES Students Volunteer at Annual Charity Ball
Sixth form students from the Stamford Endowed Schools volunteered for the seventh year running at the Evergreen Care Trust’s Ball on Saturday 6th October. The Evergreen Care Trust seeks to support older and vulnerable adults in the local community and the Ball helps to raise a significant amount of funds for the charity.
SES students gave up their Saturday evening to support the charity; they ran the tombola and silent Auction and provided a photographic service for the guests. Olivia Chandler and her ruthless photographic team had a record year selling photos to guests. Nearly £5000 was raised on the night and the SES team helped considerably to achieve this goal.
Vincent O’Shea, Chairman of the Friends of The Evergreen Trust said, “These fine young volunteers are an absolute credit to themselves, their families and the Stamford Endowed Schools and without them the Ball would not have been such a success.”
