Activities Galore on RAF Camp

Stamford High School CCF TripDuring the Easter holidays, six Y10 girls and one Y11 girl travelled to RAF Linton on Ouse in Yorkshire for a week-long RAF Section camp along with several other schools. The girls' enthusiasm and eagerness to enjoy all the activities on offer to them, and their attitude and bearing, were an absolute credit not just to the CCF but to Stamford High School. They threw themselves into all aspects of station life, taking part in gliding, shooting, flying, drill, sport and, perhaps, the muddiest assault course ever seen!
