SES Run the Race for Life
Last weekend, 80 girls and colleagues from the Stamford Endowed Schools along with their family and friends took part in the Race for Life at Burghley. The youngest entrants were from Y2 at Stamford Junior School and they were fantastic!
The Race for Life is the largest women-only fundraising event in the UK. Since 1994, women of all ages and fitness levels across the UK have come together at these inspiring events to walk, jog or run to help beat cancer.
Lynette Harte, Head of Psychology at the Stamford Endowed Schools, said: “It was amazing to have such a large SES presence amongst the thousands of women who entered this year in Burghley Park. Many thanks to all who entered and raised money for this incredible cause, same place next year everyone!”
