Donate your old cricket kit

Stamford School are teaming up with Burghley Park Cricket Club for an SOS Kit Aid donation event on the 31st March 2012.

The premise of the Liverpool Victoria SOS Kit Aid initiative is to give young disadvantaged people the opportunity to play and enjoy cricket, whilst also making use of kit that would otherwise simply become environmentally damaging waste.

To support this cause simply donate any of your unwanted cricket equipment (in reasonable condition) on the 31st March at Burghley Park Cricket Club, Burghley Park, accessible from Barnack Road.

David Jackson, Master in Charge of Cricket at Stamford School, said “This is a great cause and opportunity to get more young people from disadvantaged backgrounds involved in playing cricket, as well as not letting your old kit go to waste.”
