Football Star goes from Strength to Strength

Stamford High School student, Abbie Brewin Y13, has gone from strength to strength in the school’s U18 football team over the last 2 years. Highly instrumental in the conquest of the ISFA National Cup in the 2011-2012 campaign, she played an even more influential role this year, guiding the team to yet another national final. Abbie’s season has been nothing short of phenomenal, with a place in the England ISFA team and a record 41 goals scored for the school. The prolific playmaker has been rewarded with a trial with Nottingham Forest Ladies in the summer during their pre-season training.

Fabrice Vié, Stamford High School coach said: “Abbie is a class act on the pitch, technically very able but also always working hard for the team, the ideal midfielder. We wish her all the best for the future and there is no doubt we will miss her.”
