What are the benefits of becoming an Academic Scholar?
At Stamford Endowed Schools, all Scholars can look forward to participating in the Scholars Programme, will be recognised as a Scholar and have his/her name included on the Scholars List. Academic Scholars will specifically benefit from;
- mentoring and guidance, enabling pupils to set goals and explore their own areas of academic interest through a personalised Scholars Programme
- membership of the Scholars’ Society, which provides opportunities for pupils to broaden their experiences and enhance their critical thinking, creativity and communication skills through participation in trips, workshops, group activities and appropriate extension tasks
- monitoring of academic progress and engagement in extra-curricular and enrichment activities to allow for support, advice and encouragement where appropriate
- a Scholar’s Portfolio detailing goals, achievements and participation throughout their time at the Stamford Endowed Schools.
How do I apply?
Once your child is registered for entry to the Stamford Endowed Schools, you should complete the General Scholarship Application Form, available from the School’s Admissions Office. This should be returned, along with any additional information requested, before the deadline for application.
