Before & After School Care

The Junior School offers a Before-and-After-School Care facility, both pre-school from 8am and each afternoon when school finishes, between 3.30pm and 6pm and for those in Years 3 to 6 up to 8pm.

After a drink and snack, the pupils are able to spend time doing their homework in a supervised session or take part in craft and games activities. Weather permitting, outdoor games take place and there are computers, television and videos available for the pupils to use. For pupils staying up to 8pm a hot, sit-down meal with boarders is provided.

Stamford School offers a very flexible After-School Care service. We provide supervision for boys between 4pm and 6pm and boys can be registered for After-School Care any day by contacting the Lower Middle School secretary. After-School Care is based in Lower Middle School and boys are able to do their homework and use IT facilities.

At Stamford High School, girls who choose to stay behind other than for official after school activities or who cannot be collected until later should either be in the small ICT room which is supervised by a School Prefect until 5pm or the Library which is supervised until 6pm (at 5pm girls should move from the small ICT room to the Library, where computers are available).

We welcome any questions so please don’t hesitate to contact our admissions office.
