Children in KS2 belong to a house and meet every fortnight. Meetings can vary from a fun Geography quiz to practise for the inter-house Sports Day or preparation for the house singing competition.
In the meetings, house staff encourage the children to develop their leadership and co-operative skills, foster friendships and display their talents.
Inter-house competitions also allow children to compete against each other in both sporting and non-sporting events. There is an annual bowling trip. The DT Day is an exciting opportunity for the children to be creative. There are also competitions in General Knowledge, chess, swimming, gymnastics and cross country.
There are four houses, Aragon, Burghley, Rockingham, Grimsthorpe.
