It is coached throughout the school starting with the basics in Year 7 and developing many girls knowledge from ‘High 5 Netball.’ We have six all-weather netball courts fitted with sunken socket netball posts and protectors for all courts. Floodlights extend our facility to be used throughout the winter months and netball features from September through to March within both the PE curriculum and extra-curricular programme.

Stamford High School field three senior netball teams 1st, 2nd, 3rd VII as well as U16 A+B squads, U15 A-C squads, U14 A-C squads and U13 and 12 A-D squads. All teams compete in a strong fixture list against the likes of Oundle, Uppingham, Oakham, Leicester Grammar, Bedford High School on a weekly basis.

Pre-season netball training occurs at the beginning of the spring term and is open to all girls at Stamford High School. The venue alternates between Stamford and another UK location biannually.
