SES Careers Network
The OS Club is looking for Old Boys prepared to serve on its Careers Information Panel, which is managed by Alan Hancock (OS 80). This service is available to past and present members of the Stamford Endowed Schools. The Club works in close co-operation with the Stamford School Careers Team and seeks to help current and former pupils with careers advice and work experience.
Advisers can offer one or more of various services, depending on the time they have available, eg
1. Attend occasional careers conventions at Stamford Endowed Schools
2. Offer careers information by telephone, e-mail or in person
3. Conduct mock interviews (Careers and/or Higher Education)
4. Offer experience in the workplace, eg work shadowing, work experience
We are hoping to build a network of advisors who may also benefit from being in touch with each other. Details about network members are held by the SES Foundation.
If you are interested in joining the SES Careers network please contact Alan Hancock at email@example.com for more information.
Information about the careers followed by Old Stamfordians can also be found in the Old Stamfordians group on www.linkedin.com. This group is managed by Mike Chew (firstname.lastname@example.org) and is a closed group ie applicants to the group must be approved by Mike Chew. It is divided into a number of sub-groups according to profession.
