Stamford School

Swimming

Stamford continues to produce strong competitive swimming sides. The first fixtures took place in 1920 and the school has been competing regularly ever since.

The swimming team train together with the High School squad in the brand new Memorial Pool on the Stamford School site. Fixtures take place during all three terms. The programme is lead by Miss Amie White who has plenty of experience competing at national level.

The school competes in block fixtures with other independent schools and at the District Championships, and there are two internal galas every year.
