Snow White Visits Stamford Junior School

Snow White visits Stamford Junior SchoolStamford Junior School’s reception class children had a very special visit from Snow White on Wednesday 16th June. Snow White visited the class as part of this term’s ‘Fairy Tales’ topic. She sat with the children and they asked her many very sensible questions - such as, ‘Why does she live in a castle?’, ‘Where was her Prince?’, ‘What did the poison apple taste like?’ and ‘What are the dwarves doing now?’ - as well as commenting upon how beautiful she looked! The children then excitedly escorted her around their classrooms.

Next the children coloured in a picture of Snow White whilst she visited the Earlybird Nursery. On her return, she judged the competition and chose a winner from each class. The prizes were donated by Sukie’s Costume Hire in Stamford, who also paid for the hire of Snow White’s costume. Finally, Snow White met each of the children and answered any final questions before leaving 31 very excited children!
