Stamford School Host Charity Tea Party
After another year of supporting the Evergreen Care Trust, Stamford School students hosted the annual end of year tea party for Evergreen clients.
The Evergreen Care Trust provides services for the elderly in order to keep them independent for as long as possible. This year the school raised £350 for this worthwhile cause as well as hosting a Christmas tea party with carols and helping out at the Evergreen Charity Ball which raises a significant amount for the charity.
Stamford School students invited local residents to enjoy an afternoon of food and entertainment. There were over 60 guests in total, many of whom were residents of South Kesteven District care homes. They enjoyed some lovely entertainment from 3 students; Fraser Norton, Benedict Swindells and Declan Spaine.
Helen Chew, Charity Co-ordinator at Stamford School, said: “We were delighted to see our guests having such a good time and for the boys to make an important connection with others in the larger community of Stamford.”
