SJS Pupils Enjoy Penguin Activities
The first Junior School Saturday morning activity of 2015 was spent making penguin themed objects. The 12 pupils from Years 3 – 6 started the activity morning by painting their own penguin money pots. Mrs McDermott and Miss Spridgen were impressed with the care and attention that the children took with their painting. When they were finished the money pots looked amazing and the children were excited to fill them with their savings.
After break the pupils sewed felt penguins. Although it took them a while to get the hang of the stitching, they were soon sewing, stuffing and decorating them like professionals!
