Old Stamfordian’s Athletic Career Progresses

 Old Stamfordian Zac Pywell, currently studying Discrete Mathematics at the University of Warwick, has been making strong progress as a triathlete/duathlete. Zac did not join a triathlon club until he started university and, in addition to being on target for a first class degree, competed in his first duathlon last year, where he qualified for the European and then World Championships (10km run, 42km cycle, 5km run). At only 19, Zac competed in the 20-24 year old category and came 19th in the World Championships last June.

Zac will be competing at the European Championships on 26th April in Alcobendas, just outside of Madrid, and doing another qualifier for the World Championships in Adelaide in November, and the Europeans next year.
