Year 6 Pupils Learn about Islam
Year 6 pupils at Stamford Junior School were visited last week by Abdullah, a representative from one of the Peterborough mosques. He answered their questions about Muslim believe and lifestyle. He does this on a voluntary basis in line with one of the five pillars of Islam, to do charity work for his faith. The pupils learnt about the connections between religions and how through understanding, people can respect and tolerate each other's different beliefs and way of life.
