Tributes pour in for Libby Craig, former Head of Stamford Junior School
It is with great sadness that the Stamford Endowed Schools announce the death, last week, of Libby Craig, former Head of Stamford Junior School and PE teacher at Stamford High School. Principal Will Phelan stated, “Libby was an outstanding Head and a wonderful colleague. Although diminutive in stature, she was a colossus of the Endowed Schools and she will be fondly remembered by generations of our pupils and parents. It is a very sad time for the Schools and the community.”
Libby died peacefully at home on 10 October 2017. Her funeral will take place on Thursday 26 October at 10.00am at All Saints and St James Church, Hall Yard, King’s Cliffe, Peterborough PE8 6XQ, followed by burial in the village cemetery and afterwards an invitation to gather at the Oswald Elliott Hall at Stamford School.
