Louise Marsh Visits Stamford School
Louise Marsh, Founder of The Evergreen Care Trust, recently visited Stamford School to receive a cheque and speak to the boys about the charity.
Louise was presented with a cheque for £264.50, raised by those who took part in the Santa Fun Run in December.
The Stamford Endowed Schools have built up a good relationship with the Trust, and both parties are hoping for this to continue. Louise visited a Middle School assembly to inform the pupils about the fantastic work the Trust does with vulnerable people in the local area, and to enthuse the current Year 10 and 11 boys about getting involved with the charity when they enter the Sixth Form.
Sixth Formers organise a number of activities for the Evergreen Trust, including an annual ball and Christmas tea party.
