SHS Girls participate in the Giving Tree Appeal
Stamford High School girls took part in the Heart FM Giving Tree appeal, which helps underprivileged children in Peterborough enjoy their Christmas. The girls were given the names and ages of local children which they used to buy appropriate gifts to put under the Giving Tree in Queensgate Shopping Centre.
Amy Lewin, Charity Co-ordinator at Stamford High School, said: “I am very proud of the girls for getting involved in such a special cause this Christmas. All of them put a great deal of thought into their gifts and they have really helped give something back over the festive season”
