Physiotherapy service for SES

SES is pleased to announce that we are launching a physiotherapy service to be based in the memorial Sports Centre at Stamford School starting Monday 8th October.

There will be a triage service on a Monday morning (0700-0900) and on a Wednesday (1600-1800) for SES students who will be directed to the service by their coaches, teachers or school medical staff. On a trial basis this will be for Y10-13 students.

The physiotherapist will be basing his clinic on the ground floor in the new Memorial Sports Centre. This clinic will serve the wider community including the SES family, alumni and parents etc. Should you wish to contact Richard to discuss any potential treatment:

Richard Worrall

Following the completion of a BA Hons at Durham university, Richard gained his Masters in Physiotherapy at Northumbria University having done a research project on the provision of injury support in professional rugby union clubs.

He has previously worked in private physiotherapy clinics, sports injury clinics and has gained invaluable experience in numerous sports clubs including Rangers Football Club.

A keen sportsman himself, Richard was Captain of Northumbria University Rugby 1st XV, represented North of England Universities Rugby Union XV and was part of Nottinghamshire County Cricket youth squads.

Richard is also a modified Pilate’s instructor and a qualified sports massage therapist.
