Royal Navy Section
The Royal Navy Section is a highly active part of Stamford Endowed Schools’ CCF. The cadets learn about the Royal Navy and develop powers of leadership by means of training to promote the qualities of responsibility, self reliance, resourcefulness, endurance and perseverance.
Cadets regularly participate in a number of fun water-based courses such as sailing, windsurfing or scuba diving, all of which count towards official accreditation.
In addition to participation in active water-based courses, cadets get the chance to take part in field trips to famous war ships such as the HMS Belfast, or the Royal Naval Museum and Imperial War Museum in London.
Every year, a large number of cadets represent the Royal Navy section on Remembrance Day activities in Stamford to pay their respect to all those killed in the two World Wars and other conflicts.
