Sixth Form (Ages 16-18)
The Sixth Form at the Stamford Endowed Schools is a vibrant co-educational community, offering 26 A-level courses, 2 BTECs and a rich array of extra-curricular opportunities.
As a first step please get in touch to request a prospectus or arrange to visit us. You may be particularly interested in attending our Sixth Form Open Evening where you will be able to meet specialist subject tutors and current Sixth Form students.
Entry into the Sixth Form is based on academic performance at GCSE (or equivalent) and a reference from the student's current school. The normal guide is for a Sixth Form entrant to have achieved at least 5 subjects at GCSE grade B or better.
Experience shows that success at AS and A-Level depends on a good profile of GCSE grades with grade B being the usual minimum in most of the subjects to be studied at AS-Level. Where there is no equivalent subject studied at GCSE for A-Level then related subjects will be used as a guide.

We welcome any questions so please don’t hesitate to contact our admissions office.
