The creative spirit at Stamford Endowed Schools shines through in the vibrant music, drama and art curriculum. Music is part of the fabric of the Schools and pupils from Year One to Sixth Form enjoy weekly specialist lessons. There are several concerts each term showcasing the numerous orchestras, bands, choirs and ensembles, which stand as testament to the wealth of talent present.
The quality of drama at the Schools is soaring and there have been several large-scale productions in recent years, including Les Miserables and A Servant to Two Masters. The new Performing Arts Centre will become the hub of drama at the Schools and further enhance the teaching.
Pupil art adorns the walls of buildings across the Schools and the art departments are hives of creative endeavour. Inspiration is taken from trips to galleries and exhibitions near and from, including in Italy and Paris.
